After the murder of CSI Lia Nelson at the hands of August Heart, Detective Curtis offered CSI and close friend of Lia, Nora West-Allen, the option to talk to Frye in order to get a time off. However, she refused.[1]
Current timeline[]
Due to Nora being erased from existence,[2] Frye's current status is unknown.

- In the New 52 DC comics, Darryl Frye is a police officer of the CCPD who had an extramarital affair with Nora Allen. After Nora's murder, Darryl adopted her son, Barry Allen. He was later promoted to captain of the CCPD.
