Gold City Bank is a financial establishment located in Central City.[1] It was slightly damaged in an explosion caused by Vickie Bolen's meta-human powers.
History[]
Clyde Mardon use his weather manipulation powers to rob the bank. This would be the third time a "freak storm" would occur after a bank robbery within the month implying it would be at least the third bank Clyde had robbed.[2]
The entrance to the bank building.
In late 2014, Roy Bivolo used his emotion-manipulation abilities to make a number of customers and workers begin fighting, allowing him to rob the bank. Roy managed to escape with the money moments before the Flash arrived.[3]
The vaults inside the Gold City Bank.
Hannibal Bates, using his shapeshifting powers, robbed the bank. Posing as a friendly worker Nina, he waited until closing time to casually empty the vault lockers' contents into a handbag, framing her on the CCTV.[4]
The ATM machine explodes.
On May 4, 2017, the Gibbons family visited Gold City Bank. While the father went to an ATM, the mother opted to wait in the car with their daughter, Grace Gibbons. When the woman realized her husband forgot his ATM card, she went to the bank to deliver it to him. As he prepared to make a withdrawal from an ATM, the machine suddenly exploded (having been charged with energy just moments before by Vickie Bolen's powers), killing the couple, and hence orphaning Grace.[5]
