The Crows surrounded Batwoman and began firing at her on the orders of Jacob Kane, leaving the hero no choice but to escape using the grappling gun on the dome above the stadium.[3]

Ryan Wilder was being assaulted by members of the False Face Society when she used the grappling gun to escape them. She hanged in the air as they fired on her; she was surprised and relieved to discover that the Batwoman suit was bulletproof when she landed.[4]

Ryan used the grappling gun as an offensive weapon against a member of the False Face Society by firing the hook pass him, grabbing a pallet, then retractng the hook so the pallet hit the gang member.[5]
