At Central City University, Dr. Hersch was among the faculty that reviewed Tracy Brand's doctoral dissertation on extra-dimensional energy in spring 2017. They decided that the direction of her research was not an appropriate application of the university's resources, resulting in Tracy failing her dissertation.[1]
