History
The law firm senior partner and likely founder was a lawyer named Hewitt, he and his associates eventually gained the reputation of being the best lawyers in Gotham. After Jacob Kane was accused of the murder of his wife Catherine Hamilton-Kane, his daughter Kate Kane hired them to join the legal team assembled by Mary Hamilton to defend him at his trial.[1]
