Synopsis

A Metahuman who can shrink anything he touches battles Team Flash. Cisco and Ralph get caught in his crossfire and are shrunk to miniature versions of themselves. Cecile realizes her pregnancy has caused her to have temporary powers and discovers she can hear other people's thoughts, which unnerves Joe. Meanwhile, Barry meets someone with a mysterious connection to Henry Allen.

Trivia

• The title is a reference to the 1989 film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, and its succeeding franchise.
• While in prison, Big Sir told Barry that hope is a deadly thing to which Barry asked if he quoted it from the 1994 crime-drama The Shawshank Redemption. Although, the original line was "Hope is a good thing."
• Sylbert Rundine, AKA Dwarfstar, is a supervillain and enemy of Ryan Choi, the second Atom.
• It is revealed that the gender of Cecile and Joe's child, is that of a girl.
• In prison, a favourite food of Barry's is pudding.
• Star City is referenced in the new Mayor's speech to the public during the announcement of the Kord Industries new security.
• In a continuity error, Barry noted his dad was falsely imprisoned for 17 years however in The Man Who Saved Central City he got exonerated sometime in late November 2015 meaning Henry spent 15 years and 8 months in Iron Heights.
• In a synopsis error mentions that Barry was supposed to meet Big Sir this episode however he meted him the previous episode.
