Hybrids are individuals who share the DNA of two species at once, through either natural or artificial means.

History

In Earth-38, the first known hybrids were Nia and Maeve Nal, the daughters of Paul Nal, a human, and Isabel Nal, a Naltorian. A few decades later, in 2019, Jonathan Kent, the son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane was born. But all of them, except for the seven Paragons, were eventually killed by an antimatter wave created by the Anti-Monitor on December 10, 2019, only to be restored a month later, after the Paragons and the Spectre created a new universe.

In Earth-Prime, the first known hybrid was Amelia Earhart, a human pilot, she was captured by a man named Bishop as part of his experiments and her DNA was spliced with Zaguron DNA, but this created a Zaguron part which fought for total control of her body, she was eventually killed by this part of her and her body, along with the Zaguron part, killed by Spooner. In the 1990s, the Nal sisters were born and at some point in the 2000s Lois Lane married Clark Kent and had twins with him instead of an only son, Jonathan and Jordan Kent.

Powers and abilities

Powers

Some hybrids possess powers due to the species of one side of their family, like Nia Nal, a half-Naltorian who inherited the power of oneiromancy from her mother. However these powers can be unstable due to their mixed DNA, such as Jordan Kent's with his heat vision and noise sensitivity, or they can become recessive, due to their human genes.
