"Identity" is the ???th episode of Arrow. It aired on October 16, 2013. "Identity" is the second episode of the second season of Arrow, and the twenty-fifth episode overall. It aired on October 16, 2013.

Synopsis

Oliver finds out the medicine that is being sent to Glades Memorial is being hijacked by thieves. Without an influx of supplies, the hospital will close. Roy attempts to stop the thieves, but he fails and is arrested. Oliver gets into a heated battle with China White and her new partner, Ben Turner, AKA the Bronze Tiger, over the supplies. Meanwhile, Laurel makes plans to catch Arrow, and Thea gives Roy an ultimatum.[1]

Plot

Roy attempts to disrupt a robbery in a stolen car. He takes out one of the bad guys, turns around, but is soon after shot at and the car flips over and crashes. Roy is then interrogated by Laurel, in which she hypocritically tells him about the Arrow and his ways of seducing people and that he's "not a hero". After they leave the room, she announces that all charges are being dropped and Laurel talks with Oliver as Thea says she wishes Roy would have been thrown in jail to learn his lesson. When Oliver attempts to convince Roy to give up his quest to emulate the Arrow, he learns that the hospital in the Glades is having its medicine stolen.

Oliver later sets a trap and finds China White robbing the medicine delivery trucks. Before he can engage in battle with her, she reveals that she brought a friend, and the Bronze Tiger comes into play. After a short battle, the police arrive and they are all forced to retreat, ultimately allowing China White to get away.

Oliver calls Sebastian Blood, an alderman for the Glades, to his office and decides to work with him to bring awareness and help for the people in need. Later, Oliver is forced to abandon his appearance at the charity event to stop China White from stopping more supplies being delivered to the hospital, and as a result Sebastian slanders him to the media.

As Arrow, Oliver takes on China White and Bronze Tiger. After saving the shipment and helping the police arrest China White, Arrow convinces Roy to stop fighting in his name, but become his "eyes and ears" in the Glades. Afterward, Laurel sets a trap for Arrow, who is then surrounded by the police.

In a flashback, Oliver, Slade, and Shado discover a cave containing the remains of World War II Japanese soldiers, including a stone Oliver gave to Thea that was shown at the start of the episode.
