Iris West-Allen was a resident of Earth-4125 and the wife of Barry Allen. She was also the best friend of Ryan Wilder. Sometime during Ryan's destructive path as the Red Death, she was killed by her friend, albeit accidentally.[1]
Biography[]
Marriage and friendship[]
At some point, Iris married Barry Allen, also known as the Flash. Sometime, either before or after this, she became best friends with Ryan Wilder, who was Barry's ally on the League before going rogue.
Death[]
Due to her allegiance ultimately aligning with her husband, Iris sided with Flash against the Red Death when the two masked vigilantes fought on Earth-4125. This battle ultimately ended in Iris' demise, however, due to a stray lightning bolt from Ryan hitting her instead of its intended target, Barry.
Legacy[]
Upon Iris' death, Ryan grew even more unhinged in her pursuit of "justice", going as far as to procure a plan to kidnap Iris' doppelgänger and bring her back to her world.
While ultimately being the cause of her death, Ryan genuinely cared for Iris, and continued to see her as her best friend even after the latter sided against her.
