Iron Heights Prison, formerly known as Iron Heights Penitentiary, is a prison located near Keystone City. Visiting hours for the prison is between 1:30 pm and 3:45 pm on weekdays.[1]
Biography
After the wrongful accusation of murdering his wife, Henry Allen was incarcerated in Iron Heights. He was visited over the years by Barry Allen[2] and Joe West.[3]
Oliver Queen and Laurel Lance both went to Iron Heights for an eighth grade field trip.[4]
Peter Declan was held in the prison, however he was later set free when he was acquitted of the charges placed on him.[5]
Oliver was held in the penitentiary after being accused of being the vigilante, The Hood, and subsequently took a polygraph test. He was later set free when John Diggle acted as The Hood whilst Oliver held a party.[4]
Cyrus Vanch was formally released from Iron Heights Prison and was picked up by Vivian.[1]
Moira Queen [6] was held here when she was charged with committing mass murder during "The Undertaking".

- Iron Heights Prison is designed to hold the most dangerous criminals from Starling City, and Central City.
- Among its inmates, are perpetrators such as Baker, imprisoned for terrorizing Starling City and for the assassination of Mayor Altman; Helena Bertinelli, Oliver Queen's ex-girlfriend, the daughter of high ranking mobster Frank Bertinelli and once-vigilante known as The Huntress; Chien Na Wei, the leader of the notorius Chinese Triad Gang, Mark Scheffer, a serial bomber also known as Shrapnel, and Ben Turner, an highly skilled assassin also known as Bronze Tiger, were held in this prison before they were recruited by A.R.G.U.S..
