Trivia[]
- This is the final episode ever set on Earth-TUD25, and by extension in the 'main' Arrowverse.
- The title of the episode derives from the embroidery design of the same name that's displayed inside of the Kent Farm house. Lois previously looked at it in "The End & The Beginning".
- Out of universe, it could also be a reference to how it feels like the show itself went by too fast.
- While Fred Henderson is given an on-screen credit of Clark at age 70, he never appears in the episode, with Tyler Hoechlin playing Clark at all ages. This could be possibly a remnant credit from/of a deleted scene.
- When discussing what they think they will be remembered for, Lois says, "Truth and justice," and Clark adds, "And a better tomorrow." These quote reference Superman's motto.
- In the flash-forward, it's not confirmed who Jonathan and Jordan's wives are. While Jonathan's wife could still be Candice having simply dyed her hair blonde, Alex Garfin confirmed that Jordan's wife is not Sarah.[2]
- Clark and Lois meeting each other again (in the Afterlife vision of the Kent Farm house) in the last scene of the series mirrors Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak's meeting each other in the Afterlife (Queen Consolidated office) in the last scene of Arrow Season 8 series finale, "Fadeout".
- Jordan's Superboy suit is inspired by The New 52 Superboy/Kon-El's suit.
- David Giuntoli, who is Elizabeth Tulloch's husband and a one-time episode director on Superman & Lois (for "Always My Hero"), portrays Jonathan Kent's older self in the flash-forward epilogue.
- His uncredited appearance was a bonus similar to some of the Superman & Lois crew, including director Gregory Smith, appearing as members of the Daily Planet news crew in "A Regular Guy".
