Ivo Laboratories, or simply Ivo Labs, is a research and development facility located in Central City.
History[]
At some point, Ivo Labs was contracted by A.R.G.U.S. to "build a unit capable of identifying meta-powers". Ivo Labs named the unit the Anti Meta-human Adaptive Zootomic Organism (A.M.A.Z.O.) and built it with a scanner that would identify an individual's physiological abilities and convert it into meta data for its own purposes. Additionally, Ivo Labs modified the original Mirakuru serum to adapt to meta data using nanotechnology. They used this Mirakuru hybrid as a component of the unit, allowing A.M.A.Z.O. to also inherit abilities already registered in its database.

When reality was altered in 2018, armed men tried to steal diamonds used for conductors from Ivo Labs. An inexperienced Flash (Oliver Queen) awkwardly knocked out the robbers by creating and using a lightning bolt that ricocheted inside the warehouse, accidentally hitting the deactivated A.M.A.Z.O. and powering it on. Officer Jones, Killer Frost, and the Elongated Man then tried to stop the rogue A.M.A.Z.O. from destroying the facility, but it proved to be too strong for them, copying the two meta-humans' abilities and eventually flying off into Central City.[1]
At some point, Ivo Labs created a cutting-edge 3D printer able to print artificial organs, and sold it to a hospital. Goldface got word of the device and asked Barry Allen and Ralph Dibny, in exchange for the Neuro-Stasis Field Generator, to help him steal it on route to the hospital. However, this failed when Barry and Ralph ultimately betrayed Goldface.[2]
