Jenna Marie West[1] (born May 22, 2018) is the daughter of Joe West and Cecile Horton, the paternal half-sister of Iris West-Allen and Wally West, and the maternal-half sister of Joanie.

Biography[]

Original multiverse[]

Birth[]

Jenna Marie West was born to Joe West and Cecile Horton on May 22, 2018 at S.T.A.R. Labs in Central City. Later at the West house, Jenna was introduced to Team Flash, received as their "newest member". She also met her future niece, Nora West-Allen.[1] Jenna started to cry as the team discussed time travel. Her mother read her mind and learned that Jenna was hungry, causing Cecile to realize that she still had her powers, which she previously believed were only linked to her pregnancy. [2]

After Cicada broke into the West house and tortured Joe for information on Vibe, Jenna began crying due to her father's screams.[3]

Along with her family, Jenna attended the charity softball game between the Central City Police Department and Fire Department. Suddenly, a hypnotized Jones nearly dropped a bomb in the stadium, but a hypnotized Nora threw it into the air, saving Jenna and the other attendees.[4]

Several months later in the fall, Jenna was taken out for the day by her father.[5]

Jenna and her parents spent Thanksgiving with her mother's family.[6]

Anti-Monitor Crisis[]

During the Anti-Monitor Crisis, Jenna as well as everyone in the multiverse except for the seven Paragons, was killed in an antimatter wave by the Anti-Monitor on December 10, 2019,[7] only to be restored a month later, after the Paragons and the Spectre created a new universe.[8]

New multiverse[]

Childhood[]

Cecile brought Jenna in her carrier to CC Jitters while she introduced herself to Sue Dearbon.[9]

Cecile realized that Nash Wells' feelings for Maya are similar to how she feels about Jenna.[10]

In spring 2020, Jenna and her parents went into Witness Protection in order to keep her safe from the danger that Black Hole presented, especially after the organization hired Rag Doll to kidnap Cecile; Jenna stayed with her older sister Joanie.[11]

Jenna was put to bed at the West house during a storm created by the Forces of Nature. During the attack on Central City by the Speed Force, Joe left Rob and David Singh to take care of Jenna.[12]

At some point, Jenna entered pre-school.[13]

Era of the Red Death[]

One evening, Joe was reading a book to Jenna when Cecile came home, noting how much Jenna had grown before noticing a paper advertising a house for sale that Joe was looking at buying. Jenna was sent upstairs while her parents debated the potential move when the Red Death caused a city-wide blackout. Later, when she came down, lightning bolts sent by the Red Death propagated around the city, breaking a window though the shards were stopped by Cecile's newfound telekinesis. Afterwards, Jenna drew a picture to thank her mom for saving her, depicting her as a superhero, which convinced Joe and Cecile to stay in Central City.[14]

After Cecile injured herself looking for Red Death, Joe went to check on Jenna. Later, he made the decision to go live with her in the countryside while Cecile would stay in Central City and visit them on weekends. Two weeks later, the couple held a farewell for Joe, during which Jenna slept.[15]

Erased future[]

"If you want to have a baby, your heart will figure out the how. And then that sweet little girl is gonna grow up and decide that she hates you. Jenna has been thinking the worst insults at me tonight."
Cecile Horton[src]

In an erased future created by Eobard Thawne in 2031, a 13-year-old Jenna was mad at her mother for some reason, mentally cursing her.[16]

On the show, Jenna is also African-American, just like the rest of the West family.
    • In the show, the name XS is given to Nora, Barry and Iris' daughter and Jenna's niece from the future.
