An unnamed man is the father of Alex Danvers, and the foster father of Kara Danvers.
Biography
At some point this man along with his wife met Kal-El, who would one day become known as the superhero Superman, as they helped him understand his powers, twenty four years later Kal's cousin Kara finally made it to Earth, the man along with his wife adopted Kara as there own daughter, as left her with the Danvers family; because it would be difficult for Kal to be both a family man and a superhero.
