Jerry was about to light it for him, when Nate ran off with his cigarette, to Jerry's disappointment, as his saliva from the cigarette was one of the ingredients in John Constantine's spell for revealing a unicorn's true form.
At some point, his glasses were stoled by Mick Rory, after he and Nate visited Garcia's band, Grateful Dead's concert while searching for a kidnapped Ray Palmer, following a false clue he was forced by Damien Darhk to leave them.
