"I think we'll stay for a few days, run a few more tests, and also to see if this fits you. Cisco did the insignia. Snow thought this would help you, and... I agree."

The Jesse Quick suit, formerly known as the Trajectory suit, is a protective suit that belongs to Jesse Wells, with which she wears during her activities as the costumed crime-fighter Jesse Quick. It was originally created by Eliza Harmon and worn by her split personality, Trajectory.

History[]

Original suit[]

"What was her suit like? [...] Hey, it's a valid question."
"It is, actually. How was her suit constructed?"
"It was good. It was very good. It was like mine. It was made by somebody who understands the needs of a speedster.

Eliza in the suit

When Eliza Harmon became hooked onto the speed-enhancing drug known as Velocity 9, she created the suit for her split personality, Trajectory. Similar to The Flash's suit, it was constructed with the understanding of the needs of a speedster and protection when running at extreme speeds. Whenever Eliza wears the suit as Trajectory, she puts on a mask in order to conceal her identity.[1] After running too fast, she disintegrated, leaving the suit empty. Shortly after Eliza's death, Team Flash recovered the suit and kept it at S.T.A.R. Labs.[2]

After Jesse Wells was revealed to have gained speedster powers, she was eventually given Trajectory's suit by her father, Harrison "Harry" Wells. Caitlin Snow told Harry the suit would help Jesse, and Cisco Ramon modified the original suit, adding a black and white lightning bolt insignia on the chest.[2]

It can be presumed that Cisco added the same protection to this suit as he gave the Flash suits.

Functions[]

  • Identity concealment: Eliza Harmon and Jesse Wells used a mask as part of the suit to conceal their identities. Unlike other speedster suits though, the suit's mask only covered its user's eyes rather than the entire head.
  • Intense temperature and abrasion resistance: Since Eliza and Jesse can run at superhuman speeds, the suit is designed to be extremely heat resistant to make sure it never catches fire from the friction. For example, even after Eliza was suffering from cellular deterioration, causing her body to dissolve, the suit remained intact.[1]
