Trivia[]
- Cryer portrayed Lex Luthor's nephew, Lenny Luthor, in the 1987 DC film, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.
- According to Cryer himself, he stated that the film's less than sterling reputation was half the reason he accepted the role of Lex Luthor, alongside his love of the first Superman movie and the comics, as he wanted the opportunity to do the Luthor name justice. He accomplished this as his portrayal was praised by critics.
- Cryer was also in the DC animated series Justice League Action, where he lent his voice as the super-villain sorcerer, Felix Faust.
- Outside the DC universe, Cryer is perhaps best known for his role in the sitcom Two and a Half Men, where he also appeared alongside Paula Marshall, Odette Annable and Teri Hatcher.
- He is one of only fifteen actors to have been in all five Arrowverse TV series that were made for the Arrowverse, along with Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin, Caity Lotz, Candice Patton, Dominic Purcell, LaMonica Garrett, Melissa Benoist, Tom Cavanagh, Audrey Marie Anderson, Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Brandon Routh, Ruby Rose and David Ramsey.
