The Justice Society of America (often abbreviated as JSA) is an organization of super heroes from Earth-2.
History[]
At some point in the past, several heroes formed the Justice Society of America to save innocent people. Members Stripesy and Star-Spangled Kid defeated the villain The Needle.
Eventually, the Justice Society was disbanded, and a new Society was formed years later, with Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl, Pat Dugan/S.T.R.P.E., Wildcat, Hourman and Dr. Mid Nite. They faced off against Shiv and defeated the villain Eclipso.[1]
