Lian Yu herbs are a type of medicinal plant found on Lian Yu.

Characteristics

The Lian Yu herbs have extraordinary healing capabilities, able to help its patient recover from virtually any kind of aliment, including poison, drug overdose, and infection. These herbs can even counteract potent substances as strong as curare.

History

During his exile on Lian Yu, Yao Fei Gulong became familiar with these herbs.

In late 2007, Yao Fei gave some herbs to Oliver Queen to heal him from an arrow wound in his chest.^[1]

In late 2012, Oliver drank a concoction of Lian Yu herbs after being poisoned with a curare-laced bullet. A few days later, he gave John Diggle some an herbal concoction to also help the latter recover from a curare-laced bullet wound.^[1]
