"Forgive me, Sister. Your name slipped my mind. Lilith, is it?"
John Constantine to Lamashtu.[src]

Lilith is a demon and one of the Sisters of Eve.

During the times of the Garden of Eden, Lilith was one of the sisters God created to populate it alongside Adam. Lilith was among the Sisters of Eve who turned down Adam's proposal before Eve accepted. Lilith and the rest of her sisters chose an eternity as goddesses of Hell over a lifetime of obedience on Earth.[1]
