Lockwood Family Steel was a steel factory in National City.
History[]
The factory was founded by Peter Lockwood, then it was owned by his son, Ben Lockwood. After an Nth metal factory opened next to it, the factory closed because it didn't factor Nth metal, and the factory lost all the companies it had a contract with, one of them is L-Corp, because the Nth metal was the future, and Ben Lockwood didn't want to change the old ways. As a result; the factory was closed. Ben's father then went to the factory a while later during the Worldkillers' assault on the Earth: the terraforming brought down several metal shafts, one of which crushed him, and Ben was forced to see his father's death.
Closing the factory (and later its destruction causing the death of his father) was one of the reasons why Ben as Agent Liberty, started his revolution against aliens under the group Children of Liberty. Other reasons were the death of his father with the destruction of the factory, damage done to his family home during the Daxamite invasion, and the loss of his job as a history professor at National City University, due to prejudice he expressed toward aliens (some of which were his students) in his lectures.
