Lois Lane is the daughter of Sam Lane, the sister of an unnamed woman, the widow of the late Kal-El, and the mother of Jonathan and Jordan-El.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Lois and her sister had a good relationship with their father, General Sam Lane, who always had time for them. Eventually, she fell in love with and married the famous superhero Kal-El, to which Sam disapproved. In 2005, Lois and Kal moved from Metropolis to a farm in Smallville, when they learned that she was pregnant with twins, Jonathan and Jordan-El. In 2006, they were born and Lois went with them to Lana and Tal-Rho's wedding. Due to being celebrities, Lois and Kal weren't very present in the boys' lives while they were growing up.[1]

Rise of Ally Allston[]

Kent family (Inverse World)

Lois and her family.

In late 2021, Lois and her family went to an event, where Jon saved a man who was falling off a building, revealing that he also had powers. Jon ended up becoming his father's sidekick and eventually became more famous than them. Later, Lois and Kal argued with Jon for acting alone and led Jon to resent him even more and join Ally Allston's cult. Kal became obsessed with stopping Ally and began using Green Kryptonite to increase his powers, causing Lois to be disappointed and leave the farm with Jordan.

Lois then went to ask her father for help at the DOD, but Jon and Lana-Rho broke into the building to steal Project 4377's X-Kryptonite weapons, which could harm Kal. Lois told Jon that she was sorry for failing him and begged him to return to his family, but he ignored her. Lois, Sam, and Jordan then took refuge in a bunker on the El Farm, with Lois keeping in contact with her friend Chrissy Beppo.

Eventually, Ally and her followers took control of the government and Kal, now warped from heavy use of Kryptonite, tracked them down to the bunker and apologized to them for disappointing them. Kal also told them that he planned to steal Ally's pendant, an ancient artifact that was capable of granting the user godhood if paired with its other half, and take it to another world to destroy it.[1]

The arrival of Superman[]

Months later, Lois was contacted by Chrissy, who told her that Mitch Anderson, who had Ally's pendants and was talking backwards, had crossed the dimensional portal and was hiding. Lois and her family took him to hide in the basement of the El Farm and she realized that Kal was dead when Anderson burst into tears upon seeing his picture. Later, Jon returned to the farm with Superman; Lois then confronted them and informed Superman that Jon worked for Ally, making him push her with his super strength.

Jon knocked out Superman asked for Anderson's whereabouts, demanding the pendants. Lois begged him to stop, then Anderson appeared and punched him, knocking him out. Lois tied him to a chair with X-Kryptonite, but Ally and her Earth-TUD25 counterpart followed them to the farm, bringing Lana and Tal-Rho with them. Jon managed to escape and freeze Sam's weapon with his freeze vision and joined them outside the farm. The Allys managed to merge and gave the pendant to Jon to go to the other world to do the same with his counterpart.[1]

Ally's defeat[]

Lois, Sam, and Jordan watched Ally's announcement on TV that the worlds were finally going to merge.[2] When Ally started to merge the worlds, Lois was transported to Earth-TUD25, where she found her family from that; Earth and asked what was going on. After Superman separated the worlds, Lois was presumably returned to the El Farm in the Inverse World.[3]
