Lucy Lane is the sister of Lois Lane, the daughter of General Sam Lane, and the ex-fiancée/girlfriend of James Olsen.
Biography
Career
Lucy attended the United States Military Academy at West Point (where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a commission in the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant) and then Harvard University, where she completed a J.D./M.B.A.[1] She then went to work for the Army's Judge Advocate General's Corps as a trial counsel (prosecutor).[2] In addition, she also served as a legal attaché on her father's staff. In 2015, Lucy held the rank of Major.[3]
Seeking out James
Lucy went to National City to visit James Olsen, arriving at CatCo Worldwide Media to see him. While in his office, she encountered Kara Danvers for the first time, asking James out to dinner to talk after the latter left, as she didn't like the way she and James had left things in Metropolis.[2]
After spending some time with James (during which the two of them rekindled their relationship), Lucy resigned her commission in the Army.[3] She was subsequently hired by Cat Grant as CatCo Worldwide Media's general counsel.[1]
