The Mad Hatter's hat is classic-style mind control top hat that belonged to the late Jervis Tetch/Mad Hatter.
History[]
After one of their altercations, Batman took Jervis Tetch's top hat and had its technology disabled before placing it with his trophies from other defeated villains on Batcave.[1]
The top hat was later stolen in 2021 by "Circe Sionis", among other items, on behalf of Black Mask and Safiyah Sohail.[2] The hat floated down Gotham River with the other trophies after falling in during a fight between "Circe", Batwoman, and Alice.[3]
Eventually, the top hat was found at the side of the river by two men who sold it online to Liam Crandle. Liam later used the top hat's technology to become the second "Mad Hatter". After his defeat, the top hat was recovered by the Bat Team.[1]
