Malcolm Byrd, also known as Javelin, is a French criminal arms dealer who was arrested by A.R.G.U.S. with the help of Curtis Holt (disguised as Dr. Nyambi Somto).
Biography[]
In the past, Byrd had some dealings with "Dante" and the Ninth Circle.
In 2018, Byrd was summoned by Dr. Nyambi Somto (Curtis Holt in disguise) to set up a business meeting. John Diggle gave Curtis a portfolio loaded with the concoction Byrd is keen on buying and they started the mission. Curtis found Byrd and sold him the synthetic, and Byrd right away placed it into a biochemical bomb. Curtis took off his disguise and used the portfolio Diggle offered him to shoot the entirety of Byrd's men. Curtis incapacitated the bomb and A.R.G.U.S. operators surge in the capture Byrd and his men.[1]

- This is the first live-action incarnation of Javelin, followed by Flula Borg's version (a more comic-accurate version named Gunter Braun) in the DC Extended Universe film, The Suicide Squad.
