Margaret, nicknamed "Margot", is an extremely intelligent and deft thief who, as Magpie, is drawn to shiny things and thus has a penchant for pickpocketing the rich. She was inevitably foiled by Batwoman and incarcerated at Blackgate Penitentiary.[1]
Biography
Operating as Magpie
Margaret had made a history in climbing up as a photographer in order to case the places she wanted to steal from. At some point, she took up the name Magpie when doing this. After multiple robberies, Margaret was almost caught by a guard and she uses explosives that severly injures him, this caught the media attention.
Stealing Martha Wayne's necklace
When Kate Kane authorised to but Martha Wayne's necklace in display to represent Gotham strong woman, Margaret as a photographer took picture of the necklace until she has enought. That night, as Magpie, she tries to stole jewels in a museum but Batwoman show up and after a brief fight, she escape by the window. Later, as Magpie, she broke into Wayne Tower and steals Martha Wayne's Necklace after knocking out Luke Fox. She uses the necklace as to print a 3D model of the necklace dozed with explosived so that she can steal all jewel in the museum where the necklace is supposed to be put on display. Then, she was foiled by Batwoman and incarcerated at Blackgate Penitentiary.
Personality
Margaret believes everything she does is for the greater good despite the lives she hurts or kills. Her main goal being to survive in life.
Abilities
- Expert thief: As a thief, Margot comes up with elaborate ideas on how to steal items. She mostly steals jewellery, arriving from the ceiling window.[1]
- Acrobatics: When fighting against Batwoman, Margot has shown some acrobatic skills to evade some of Batwoman's tech.[1]
- Explosives knowledge: Margot knows how to use a 3D printer to print explosives and disguise them as fake jewellery. She also uses small electronic magpies as bombs.[1]
- Photography: Photography was her day job.[1]

- Magpie suit: Margaret wore a black uniform as her alter ego Magpie.
- Explosives: Margaret had explosives, which she used as defensive weapons.
