Mary Hamilton runs a secret clinic in a dangerous section of Gotham City to help the lower-class citizens who can't afford hospitals.
History
At some point before 2018, unbeknownst to Gotham University, Mary Hamilton used their funds to operate an illegal clinic.
Mary tried very hard to keep this clinic a secret and worked passionately at it saving lots of lives. However, after the death of her own mother, Catherine Hamilton-Kane (who had always known about the clinic), she decided to dismantle it as she felt she could not run the clinic as she could not save her mom.[1]
