Chester P. Runk grew up in Masonville, raised by his father, Quincy P. Runk and his grandmother, Gertrud Runk.
Deon Owens was a high school student in Masonville who destroyed his knee during a football game, requiring him to get reconstructive surgery.
In mid-2020, while Chester and Cisco Ramon were on the outskirts of the town placing equipment to track Psych or Fuerza, a wave of temporary energy sent them back to 1998. They were forced to engage Deon in battle so that he could return them to their proper time.[1]
