Why delete?Edit

Why should we delete the Multiverse (Prime) page? its now a whole new multiverse, thats what IHHeroes said in the announcement. User:Carpe Universum/Sig16:11, 16 Jan 2020 ] | </span></div>

It makes sense, but I still think there should be an entire new multiverse, and the content about the new one should be removed from that page. Just my personal opinion.

I understand, thanks.

Re:Connor HawkeEdit

Huh, sorry about that: just read the transcript, seems I misheard something....Sorry. about 10:48 was where I heard it, it said gone is gone, misheard that. User:Carpe Universum/Sig07:36, 17 Jan 2020 ] | </span></div>

Re: DeceasedEdit

Hey, sorry about that. I thought the reason for not updating the status was so that it didn't clutter the activity log, so I was just doing it on pages I was already updating. I won't change that for any more pages. I'll only put the December 10, 2019 death death date for characters confirmed to have died in Crisis from now on.--Corz23 (talk) 14:50, January 17, 2020 (UTC)

Delete pageEdit

I added more content to the Dove page. Does it still need deleted? If so, can you please tell me why? Thanks, User:Carpe Universum/Sig15:43, 18 Jan 2020 ] | </span></div>

Oliver Edit

Just saying, but if you look at the edit again, that person put that he was almost killed by Ras in S3, which had nothing to do with the current events. They did not put that he was alive now. The "almost killed" part was in a completely different paragraph.Ninja72 (talk) 18:09, January 19, 2020 (UTC)

Earth-12 Edit

The footage shown for Earth-12 is from the Green Lantern Movie. Why would there be any reason to assume it has any relation to the upcoming TV show? I highly doubt the show's version of Oa will look anything like the movie's version, much less be exactly identical to it. TheRadion (talk) 18:12, January 19, 2020 (UTC)

Selena's doppelgangerEdit

The Kryptonian witch technically has a name, I watched the episode on the CW App and I had to turn Captions on because i'm partially deaf and I saw one of the lines read "Selena: The Suave one is right, it's too much a risk." indicating that's who was talking to the Evil Brainy and her name "Selena" is in the credits as well. That's how I named the character for that page --Jourdon (talk) 17:09, January 20, 2020 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I got confused, forgot that I only got 10 minutes into the episode last night. From what I saw, she needed a page, so I guess I may have gotten confused. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Carpe Universum (talkcontribs)

Why so?Edit

It's no polemic, I grant it, just a question. When you said we can't assume a location eve if it paralles our world because "this Earth could have slightly different geography" well, that's absolutely true, yet we have assumed Central City was in Missouri via maps and despite for years we had been certain Star City was in California (close to San Francisco) always due to maps, other elements suggested it was close to Seattle, Washington, which ultimately resulted in being it's official location. So my question is why couldn't we apply that same reasoning to Gotham?--Oilgof (talk) 12:26, January 28, 2020 (UTC)

Alright. Being in-universe stuff (as said information regard maps or details shown in the episodes) it isn't more appropriate use the "Trivia" section? "Behind the scene" is better for the comics allusion or production/filming/location easter eggs. Also, my intention was just to incorporate the "possible" location in the article introduction (as it was done in other pages too) not in the page's body. I swear.--Oilgof (talk) 13:30, January 28, 2020 (UTC)

May I know how do I put the image in the summary category, I have trouble doing it and also couldn’t find any places to choose which series of screenshot it is from.--Francisco "Cisco" Ramon (talk) 11:17, February 5, 2020 (UTC)

Current universe Edit

Hey, just saying, but maybe we should hold off adding current universe to deceased characters that were not originally from Earth-Prime, but still existed on it, since as far as I know, they are still duscussing whether we should do that or not. Then again, I might be totally wrong and they might have already made a decision on it. Sorry, if this is the case.Ninja72 (talk) 16:50, February 5, 2020 (UTC)

I was actually talking about what the documentation on Template:Character says. It says that this paeameter should only be ultilized when a character is alive. Then when MakeShift reverted my reversion on Robert Queen, I asked if there was something I am unaware of and he said that it is a bit trickier scenario with Earth-Prime and he would have to discuss it with the other admins.Ninja72 (talk) 17:39, February 5, 2020 (UTC)

When exactly did you propose it to him? Before or after the 29th?Ninja72 (talk) 17:52, February 5, 2020 (UTC)

Well, that was also when he told me he will have to discuss it with the rest of the admins. Idk which came first though. In any case, we should probably wait until they clarify it.Ninja72 (talk)

Request for GIFs Edit

If I wanted to post GIFs as a title card for an episode, where should I get a permission or do I need one? --Francisco "Cisco" Ramon (talk) 08:04, February 8, 2020 (UTC)

Capitals Edit

Hey I was just wondering how to capitalize the yet-to-be created page for Benjamin Siegel's gun. I'm unaware if a policy exist but should it be Hellfire gun or Hellfire Gun (and if I should put no capital in a sentence). Like, I'm pretty sure hellfire deserves a capital but honestly I'm clueless. --SkyNeon (talk) 12:52, February 8, 2020 (UTC)

Image questions Edit

How do we change the civilian photo to a new one? For example: John Constantine’s photo has been on his page for about 2 years, if I want to change it to a new photo not yet uploaded to the wiki, what should I do? (The reason for this question is because I don’t know how to delete the old photo (e.g. John Constantine.png) replace with another one.) --Francisco "Cisco" Ramon (talk) 03:08, February 9, 2020 (UTC)

Re:Re:Image questions Edit

Re:Multiple uploads of the same image Edit

Greetings! First and foremost, I apologize for my impracticality. That said, why I uploaded those images because (if you've seen the shot) it was very shaky...for good reason, obviously given the events of the episode. But as far as usage on the Wiki, images have to be of pure high quality (i.e. not blurry or anything too silly) and of all images i could find/upload (yes, even the subtitled one), those were the best I could acquire. In addition, I also didn't know which particular image best suited the Wiki, hence three uploads. I was hoping a decision could be made on which image is better suited or (as I added to the File pages) an option to update for better quality if needed...which is mostly squarely at the subtitle image as obviously a subtitle-less image is need. And those are my reasons, admittedly not knowing if there was a guide to this kind of situation or if this was a case to use my best judgement. But again, I apologize for my far-than-perfect methods, and this is no excuse for my actions. If a situation like this came up again, I'll consider an alternative way to get people's opinion on what should be done. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Cheers! -- CJSFanOn Stranger Tides, Arkham City 16:54, February 11, 2020 (UTC)

Thanks very much for understanding, and being a former admin myself (not blocked or anything, for the record, just semi-retired) I get it. In all honesty, as far as this Wiki, this not my area of expertise...even back then I'm mostly a content/quotes guy. But I just happen to come across some images in question, noticed they'd work here, so I thought, "Eh, why not?" Or if (admittedly) I don't like the current image or, like you said, if it simply needs an update. A small mission of mine (as I was semi-retired from huge Wiki edit business), but now it seems like every time I'm out, I'm back in. I blame the Crisis! Haha Speaking of, I would rather someone more qualified than me (or at least have better eye of what's the "lesser evil") make the decision of which image looks best for, contrary to my own belief, I'm horrible with decisions! Perhaps it's because the scene in question is so pivotal. Anywho, thanks for the reply and the advice. Cheers! -- CJSFanOn Stranger Tides, Arkham City 19:18, February 11, 2020 (UTC)

Fine but then shouldn't it be the same in every page? In Star City "Location" is a section in its own right, and above the "Behind the scene" section. I find a little weird having a sub-section under the one that is usually the last (Behind the scenes) yet if you assure me it's that how it should be done, to me is totally fine. However as for uniformity it should be done in all the cities pages, and my perplexity was: it was done in no one--Oilgof (talk) 15:16, February 16, 2020 (UTC)

Also, how could it be an assumption if they show a detailed map with the exact location of every city in Earth-Prime and it mirrored exactly that of our world? In Gotham's specific case, that's Lake Michigan it has the same location and shape, it's an assumption since it could be named differently on Earth-Prime? As for what I believe, saying Gotham is in Illinois is an assumption, saying it's in Wisconsin it's an assumption, saying is "somewhere on the western shores of Lake Michigan" it's not, we seen it: is on the western shore of a lake in the Unites States that has the exact shape and location of Lake Michigan.--Oilgof (talk) 15:25, February 16, 2020 (UTC)
I honestly don't understand, the information didn't uses out-of-universe info to support its claims: the map was shown in The Flash's season six episode 10 titled "Marathon". If that's the problem we can use the link to the episode as reference instead of the link of an article who, however, referenced said episode. However, I've always used as source of the info the link to the episode together with the link to the article--Oilgof (talk) 16:11, February 16, 2020 (UTC)

I see, and partly fear, that argumentation. Yet, all I can say is New York is an actual city, and it's on the map (at this point in an unknown state that it's not New York until is shouted out loud) Freeland is in Georgia (lukily that was shouted out loud) anf the Atlantic Ocean exist (it was named) Metropolis is between New York City's unnamed state and Georgia in an unnamed state on the north of the East Coast of the U. S. (that's also confirmed, I guess... USA were named, the cardinal point not yet since the creation of Earth-Prime but I hope is not an assumption believe they exist)... still is an assumption say it was Delaware because no one used the world "Delaware". Lake Michigan, which is shared, from west to east, by the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan can't simply be Lake Michigan because it's not called that, and none of said state could be confirmed to exist for the very same reason EVEN IF Central City (which is officially in Missouri) on the map is on the right place it would have been located as a city of Missouri if the unnamed lake was in fact Lake Michigan, even so, since the birth of Earth-Prime we can't be sure that Central City is in Missouri anymore because it was never stated and even if the map's locations seems to confirm it again, we can't assume geography. As always I don't want to be polemic but in front of all this, even if it's an intresting point of view I believe it's too strict over what can be considered an assumption and what not.--Oilgof (talk) 16:53, February 16, 2020 (UTC)

To follow said logic, if Illinois or Wisconsin are name dropped, we could say as for real world hierarchy that their in USA and, always as for real world hierarchy, thay're on the shores of Lake Michigan, right? That would made them a most solid proof for claiming Gotham is there than a map that show its location mirroring that in real world? If Delaware is mentioned is more solid as a proof for Metropolis location because, as for real world hierarchy, it should be in the point indicated by the map? Again, no polemic, those are simply questions as I find questionable the logic of this exeption--Oilgof (talk) 18:25, February 16, 2020 (UTC)

Sorry for the late answer, unfoortunately we live under very different time zones... yes, now it's a little clearer. I'll try to keep that in mind, thank you for all the answers.--Oilgof (talk) 08:31, February 17, 2020 (UTC)

Re:Astra Edit

Yes, souls can not be killed unless by hellfire, but she says he is gonna have to kill her and she does not say that he can not and and then she says her soul would just end up there anyway, implying that she still can die and is not in the afterlife, but after dying she will go to Hell again.Ninja72 (talk) 11:11, February 19, 2020 (UTC)

I know that Hell is an afterlife. What I meant is that it suggests that her being there is not her afterlife unlike everyone else who is there and that if he kills her, she will go back there, this time dead like everyone else.Ninja72 (talk) 11:44, February 19, 2020 (UTC)

My John Constantine imageEdit

What was wrong with my John Constantine image? If I may ask.--Typhuss999 (talk) 18:15, February 19, 2020 (UTC)

Also the image has a white border line on the side when you click on the image.--Typhuss999 (talk) 18:28, February 19, 2020 (UTC)

Also finding DC's Legends of Tomorrow screencaps online isn't easy to come by, there aren't that may sites with screencaps and some need the season 5 screencaps.--Typhuss999 (talk) 18:30, February 19, 2020 (UTC)

Leigon Edit

I know Mon-El and Imra weren't specifically mentioned as members but did we really expect them to specifically point out they are members of that specific same team? Because the episode literally played reruns of some of the same scenes we've seen before and they said Mon-El was from the future. I don't think they'd have to spell that out for us because then again, I don't think they ever said the "The Leigon" was named The Legion but we already know what it is which is why the page is named the way it is. By that logic Iris shouldn't be a member of Team Flash because they never specifically said she was part of that team either. Just saying. I know speculation is a big thing but this is the same wiki that assumed there was only one God in the entire multiverse and not multiple so I think it's okay to assume they were Leigonaires in this universe that isn't that much different from when the Earths were seperated. --Jourdon (talk) 06:59, February 24, 2020 (UTC)

Re:Leigon Edit

Oh okay, I forgot about Back To The Future, my mistake. Irma wasn't mention but she did briefly show up alongside Mon-El when Mxy and Kara were scrolling through the timeline like it was a Netflix show! LOL! So she was there but I see your point. --Jourdon (talk) 07:31, February 24, 2020 (UTC)

Strange codes Edit

I don’t know if you have noticed yet, but for a reason, [REC.] (comic book) appears as a bunch of crazy codes on the Boys Night page in the infobox. What is written in the box is {{Com|page=REC.|[REC.]}}. IC228 TALK/WALL|MY WORK| 03:41, March 14, 2020 (UTC)

Occupation on infoboxes Edit

Does the members of Legends need to put Member of Legends in the infobox like members of Team Flash/Team Arrow/Superfriends does? The only ones I can see is Rip Hunter and Wally West. IC228 TALK/WALL|MY WORK| 06:43, March 17, 2020 (UTC)
