Meta spiders are spiders that were affected by the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator explosion, being mutated by the emitted particles. Scientifically, they are Agriope aurantia.
Biography[]
Two spiders were affected by the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator explosion, being mutated and resorting to living in the sewers of Central City. They kidnapped five maintenance workers before The Flash discovered them, along with the maintenance workers who were strung up in the spider webs. They attacked The Flash, stringing him up, but he quickly vibrated through the spider web, capturing the two spiders.[1] They proceeded to lock them up in The Pipeline.[2]
