Original multiverse
At some point before 2018, Michael Akins became the mayor of Gotham.[1]
Akins made an appearance at an event at which the city planned to turn off the Bat-Signal. However, the event was interrupted. Due to this, Akins called Commander Jacob Kane of Crows Security to confirm whether they were going ahead with their movie in the park event. Indeed, going ahead, Kane assured Akins of the event's safety.[1]
New multiverse
In a press conference, the mayor tried to quiet the population of Gotham City about the threats of the hacker Terrier. However, the transmission was hacked by the villain, with his face and covered by the Terrier's avatar and his credit card number leaked.[2]
His son Bryan was kidnapped by Mouse in order to bargain the freedom of Alice, eventually freed by Kate Kane.[3]
