When Barry Allen was six years old, he begged his parents to take him to a science exhibition in Midway City.[1]
While lying to Iris West about Ronnie Raymond, known under the alias "Sam", Caitlin Snow claimed that Midway City was one of the places Sam lived, aside from his also false hometown, Coast City.[2]
Patty Spivot was accepted into the Forensic Science program at Midway City University, a renowned school.[3] She finally took the opportunity four years after she was initially accepted.[4]
Criminal Remington Meister was planning to use a satellite in Midway City to destroy Central City, but Barry Allen and Ralph Dibny managed to thwart it when they went there to investigate about Sue Dearbon's whereabouts.[5]

- In the DC comics, Midway City is a metropolitan community in Michigan. It is famous for being the home of the Doom Patrol, and a base of operations of the Silver Age Hawkman and Hawkwoman.
