"Hey, it's Booster! I'm Booster Gold, okay?"
—Mike to the Time Police[src]

Mike, self-titled Booster Gold, is the fixer of a fixed point in 1916—Alun Thomas's death. After tricking the Legends by stealing their Waverider, Mike got arrested by the Time police for violating the timeline. Mike helped the Time police lure the Legends by bringing the Waverider back to 1916 in order to arrest them.

Biography[]

Early life[]

At some point in the future, Mike became a member of the Time police, as he learned stories from the famous Legends, whom he saw as his inspiration and idols. Mike became a fixer to protect a fixed point in the year 1916 to prevent rogue time travelers from creating aberrations. During that time, Mike took on the nickname Booster Gold.[1]

He made friends with an A.I. named Skeets, the pair being known together even by the time police as a duo. Mike also at some point made friends with Charlie.[2]

Tricking the Legends[]

Mike continued his work and indirectly killed Gwyn Davies so that he couldn't save Alun Thomas. When the day restarted, Mike stopped time due to more time travelers, and started playing golf while making fun of the soldiers. Mike found out that the travelers were the Legends and Gwyn, so he unfroze time, and talked to his idols.

The Legends speak to Mike

Mike talks to the Legends about his plan to save Alun Thomas from dying during World War I.

They arrived at a base where a military officer had died of natural causes, but would not be discovered until later that evening. Mike explained his work as a fixer and spoke with Zari Tarazi to show that he knew all the names of the team, as they were his inspiration, and learned that Gwyn was the creator of time travel. Mike rejected the plan to replace Alun with a robot fake until he found out that his job was a joke because the fixed point he had been assigned to protect could fix itself without the need of a fixer, as disrupting the events that led to the invention of time travel itself would result rogue time travels not being able to travel there in the first place, creating a paradox.

Mike and the Legends went out to elaborate the plan and watched as Astra Logue, Spooner, and Gideon arrived. Seeing the Waverider, Mike stole it knowing that the Legends had tricked him, and destroyed the time machine so they wouldn't escape while he learned things about life, and contacted the Time police to arrest the Legends.[1]

Attempting to be free and eventually get back to Skeets, Booster Gold used the temporal zone to be rid of his bracelet. He then took a joyride to see a number of the Legends' past moments throughout history, before meeting up with Charlie in 1977. The time police very promptly caught up with him, and despite some help from Charlie, he couldn't outrun them. With a threat on Skeets, Mike opted to comply with them in catching the Legends.[2]

The Legends and Mike are arrested by the Time police

Mike and the Legends are arrested by the Time police for their crimes to the timeline.

Mike returned to 1916 and rejoined the Legends, apologizing for stealing from them, and explained his apparent motives. Quickly, Mike kept talking and showed off his handcuffs until he summoned the officers to capture the Legends, explaining that they were under arrest for their crimes. Mike revealed his nickname, Booster Gold, explaining how he was also arrested alongside his idols.[1]

Possible future[]

In 2032, Mike was thanked during a visit to the White House. The National Free Press published an article on November 12, 2032 about this.[3] This would indicate Mike and the Legends escaped time jail in a possible future.

Personality[]

Mike is a happy-go-lucky person very identical to that of Chester P. Runk, but he takes his job as a fixer seriously, even if he sometimes treats it like a game. He also shows to be a fan of the Legends knowing everything about them and they were the ones who inspired him to become who he is now, although he proves to be a bit of a traitor, since he steals the Waverider and delivers them together with him to the Time Police. Mike is also a friendly person, accepting a favor from Sara Lance, compelled to do so by her use of the word please.
