The mirror gun is a meta-tech weapon built by McCulloch Technologies from the solar reflector panels from the S.T.A.R. Labs satellite.

History

When Clifford DeVoe's attempt to bring about the Enlightenment was thwarted by Team Flash and DeVoe died, this triggered a dead man's switch, causing the S.T.A.R. Labs satellite to plummet from space into Central City.

After the satellite's destruction McCulloch Technologies used the satellite's solar reflector panels to create the mirror gun which can destroy any object down to its atoms. This gun was stolen by Nora West-Allen while working with the Young Rogues.[1]

At first they tried it on the satellite's core, which worked. Team Flash then wanted to use it to destroy Cicada's dagger, which The Flash took a shot at.[2] However, having figured out why Eobard Thawne had been so keen to see to it that Cicada's dagger was destroyed, The Elongated Man ended up throwing himself into the path of the gun, thus getting hit by the gun's blast as a result. This essentially turned his cells inside out, leaving him unconscious.[3]

The mirror gun in action

The mirror gun, breaking down a section of the S.T.A.R. Labs satellite.

  • Mirrorverse Teleportation: The mirror gun has the ability to deconstruct any object down to its atoms and then reconstruct it in the mirrorverse. It is proclaimed to be the only thing that can destroy Cicada's dagger. The gun has the ability to send objects to the Mirrorverse; both Cicada's dagger and Kamilla Hwang are there after being shot. The reason it couldn’t send Ralph to the mirrorverse is because It couldn’t deconstruct him and then reconstruct him inside the mirrorverse.
