The creator of the weapon is unknown, but according to Harry Wells, Evan McCulloch used it while operating as the criminal Mirror Master.[1]

- Dimensional warping: The mirror gun could supposedly create portals into a 2-D dimension, by turning everything into 2-D. Harry Wells theorized that it had dimensional warping technology capable of turning anything two-dimensional.[1]
