- For the first Queen, see Queen (Royal Flush Gang).
Mona Taylor,[1] also known as Queen, is a meta-human and the leader of the Royal Flush Gang on Earth-Prime.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Sometime after the particle accelerator explosion, Mona obtained psych powers. Mona overheard Nora and Bart West-Allen talking and learned the term "metahuman" which led her to finding similar metahumans and form the Royal Flush Gang, the first meta-humans ever to attack Central City, first a bank[1] and mostly targeting casinos. At some point, they were stopped by the Flash.[2]
Escape[]
At some point in time, Mona and the gang escaped. Now targeting casino's with cryptocurrency, they stole a beryllium core on a train, later causing the Calvert train collision. They then stole a microchip from Mercury Labs. As the last part of their plan, they cut the power in Iron Heights, causing every cell door to open. This way they could help Jared Haywood escape in order to pull off the heist. Just as they were about to kill Haywood, they stopped by the Flash.[2]
Using her powers[]
At some point, Mona was visited in Iron Heights by Rosa Dillon and Cecile Horton, two psychic metas who asked her to use her powers of telepathy on Cecile, but in doing so, Horton accidentally absorbed her powers. Mona was then briefly released to help Cecile and Rosa channel their powers to help Bashir Malik, who is later revealed to have caused Cecile to absorb her powers. After the war of the negative forces ended, Mona and Rosa got their powers back, and most likely Mona went back to prison.[3][4]
