Monovista International is an organization that is creating weapons of mass destruction on Earth-Prime.
History[]
Monovista International established a site in Freeland a year after the War for Freeland occurred, hoping to mine the deposits of promethium which was created during the war.
While Marshall Bates worked for Tobias Whale, Lauren Caruso worked to make life in Freeland easier. She helped to create the Direct Energy Gun (DEG) for the Freeland Police Department and tried to create an energy emitter so that the world could have free sustainable energy. Renewing her romance with Peter Gambi, Lauren solicited his advice with her projects.[1]

However, Monovista was using research from the Center for Gene Therapy and Genetic Research, Lynn Stewart, specifically, to transform the energy emitter into a power-dampener using the powers of Val Seong as a template. Red forced Marshall to rush his work on the conversion, threatening him with his magetokinesis and a bullet.
Furthermore, Monovista told the public that it was sponsoring gene therapy for the unborn to stop birth defects; in actuality, the company was stealing the meta-gene from the unborn, so Tobias could grant those powers to whom he pleased. Darius Morgan died when he discovered this secret.[3] When Tobias became mayor, he gave meta-human potential to Chief Ana Lopez of the police department so her officers would be equal to any meta-human they met.
After his death, Darius passed his research to Anissa Pierce who showed it to Lauren, so that Lauren and Gambi could work on stopping Monovista's partnership with Tobias.[4] Gambi was later able to steal one of their deposits and began running simulations on using it to mindwipe Tobias.[5]
