Moonrise Records Ltd. was a record label specialising in blues music. It was owned by Marcus Mooney.
History[]

Moonrise Studios in its prime in the 1930s.
In the 1930s, Marcus Mooney allowed Willie Cole to record a song on an acetate, before leaving him to do it himself. As he was doing so, Satan came back to claim the man's soul, causing the acetate to record his voice, and Cole's body to explode in to nothing but blood, covering the entire recording room. Following this event, Mooney sealed the record in the walls of the studio, before it eventually went out of business. Jasmine Fell went to Moonrise Studios to find the acetate in order to exchange it for the return of her soul.[1]
