N. Emerson, also known as Dr. Polaris, is a meta-criminal imprisoned at A.R.G.U.S..

Biography

At some point, N. Emerson became a meta-human criminal known as Dr. Polaris with the ability to manipulate electromagnetic fields. Emerson claimed to use his powers for good, but immediately robbed a charity event held by the mayor. Emerson was later defeated and imprisoned at A.R.G.U.S..

In 2022, Emerson, Joslyn Jackam, Tony Woodward, and the Psycho Pirate mask escaped from their cells, only to be stopped by Cisco Ramon, Tinya Wazzo, and Kamilla Hwang.

• In the DC comics, Neal Emerson, also known as Dr. Polaris, is a mentally disturbed scientist and criminal who gained electromagnetic powers through exposing himself repeatedly to intense magnetic fields. He is one of the greatest enemies of Green Lantern. He debuted in Green Lantern (Volume #2) #21 (June, 1963).
