- "Five years with the NSA, you learn a lot about how the world works. How we can't be saved or salvaged. How it's every man for himself."

The National Security Agency (NSA) is an intelligence organization of the United States government, responsible for global monitoring, collection, and processing of information and data for foreign intelligence and counterintelligence purposes, a discipline known as signals intelligence (SIGINT).
By spring 2013, Joseph Falk had fallen onto the NSA's radar due to his cyber-crusade under the alias "The Savior". John Diggle used his contact in the organization to identify The Savior as the creator of the website, Glades Betrayed.
The NSA kept tabs on Floyd Lawton/Deadshot, the world's deadliest assassin, and his associates, including Alberto Garcia. Felicity Smoak hacked into the NSA for this information while tracking Deadshot.
