The nexus is a place located between the multiverse and the netherverse. It was used to store the antimatter cannon.

In late 2018, Mar Novu accidentally sent Barry Allen of Earth-90 to the netherverse. He was later found by Mobius who put in the nexus and forced him to run on a treadmill to power up the antimatter cannon.

In late 2019, Mobius sensed the existence of Mar Novu on Earth-2 and went to the nexus to turn on the antimatter cannon and test fired it.

Later, Harrison Nash Wells detected antimatter under Central City and began his search for methods to open the door to the nexus. He set up a worksite in order to open the door.

On December 9, 2019 11:58, Nash talked to Mobius, thinking he is Mar Novu. He later pressed the buttons on the door and he was sucked into the nexus, becoming Pariah.

On December 10, 2019, Barry, Caitlin and Cisco arrived. However, they didn't know how to open the door to the nexus until Cisco vibed Nash and opened the door. They later realized Barry Allen of Earth-90 were forcibly charging the antimatter cannon.
