Oliver was a friend of John Diggle.
Biography[]
At some point, Oliver and John Diggle became friends. For unknown reasons, Oliver eventually died.[1]
Legacy[]
Oliver's death impacted John Diggle so much that he left the vigilante life behind, not wanting to lose anyone else he cared about.
After Diggle had learned that Sam Lane planned on killing Superman as a backup plan if they couldn't stop Zod from taking him over, Diggle reminded him that Oliver believed Superman was "the best they have", and that he wouldn't have agreed with Sam's contingency plan.[1]
