- "Like the gods of Olympus made manifest..."
- —Helen of Troy upon witnessing the glory of Beebo[src]
The Olympians were a group of ancient Greek deities that fed off of worship for their power. As time passed and the Fates ceased controlling destiny, people stopped worshipping the Olympians so the majority of them are presumed to have died off.
History[]
In ancient times, the gods of Olympus were the central focus of Ancient Greeks’ worship. They ruled from Olympus, a towering mountain. Whereas their allies the Fates derived power from the Loom of Fate, the Olympians depended on humans worshipping them.
Once Clotho destroyed the Loom, people were free to do as they pleased and stopped worshipping the Olympians over time. Clotho believed the Olympians to have all died out due to their lack of worship.
In 2020, the Olympian party god Dionysus was revealed to have survived by obtaining “worship” as a legendary partying frat boy at Hudson University. He remained friends with Clotho since he enjoyed this life and no Loom meant unlimited partying.[1]
