Pennsylvania is a state in the United States of Earth-1. The state borders New York to the north-west, West Virginia to the south-west, Ohio to the west, both Maryland and the District of Columbia, to the south and New Jersey to the east.

History

At some point in time, Pennsylvania became a state of the United States. Sometime after this, the state was labeled on a map used by Chas Chandler; while slightly later after receiving the map, John Constantine and Chas Chandler encountered a succubus on a freight train that ran on a rail line in Pennsylvania, which resulted in a warrant issued for the latter.

In 2014, Constantine headed to Pennsylvania again, this time visiting Heddwich to investigate various magical or supernatural events there; including the mysterious death of Lannis Cadogan, which was connected to the Rising Darkness, as well as the Coblynau inhabiting one of the NorPenn Mining Company's abandoned mines.

In 2016, Rip Hunter traveled to Pittsburgh, PA to recruit Firestorm, the merged superhero form of Jefferson Jackson and Professor Martin Stein. After Firestorm stopped a terrorist attack at a nuclear plant, Rip appeared while Jax and Stein argued.

In December 10, 2019, Pennsylvania was vaporized, along with the rest of the United States, when Earth-1 and the original multiverse was destroyed by the Anti-Monitor's antimatter cannon/wave. But a new version was created on Earth-Prime.
