Philip Henslowe (fl. 1594) is a theatrical producer.
Biography[]
Philip Henslowe worked as a producer of theatre, overseeing William Shakespeare's work. After Shakespeare took some time to finish Romeo and Juliet, he convinced Henslowe to give him more time by giving him a ring. He proceeded to drink with others in a pub, only to have the ring stolen by Charlie. He soon after engaged in a bar fight after John Constantine bumped into and insulted him. Realizing the ring to be gone, he blamed Shakespeare, and so pulled all of his funding. When the Legends began to recreate the plays to motivate Shakespeare to write the classical dramas, Nate went out of theater and briefly entered the conflict with him and his men, but escaped from them.[1]
