The morning after[]

On January 14, 2020, the day the Anti-Monitor Crisis ended, Philippe went to wake up his master bringing him breakfast in his king-size bedroom. After Lex Luthor, still confused due to the post-Crisis memories, asked him if he was dead, Philippe stated he simply suffered from a bad hangover and suggested him to take some coffee. Looking out the windows, Lex noticed that he succeeded in saving the world, to which Philippe replied it was nothing new for him, and that was the reason he was about to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, showing him an article that reported it. Then, Philippe accompanied him throughout his mansion, where he overlooked all the newspaper and magazine articles featuring him as a public hero. After Lex asked about his sister, Philippe explained that she spent the night at his mansion due to having taken part of the party held there to celebrate his imminent Nobel Prize. Lex noted that the Monitor had kept his word, then he injected Lena with a sleeping drug and asked Philippe to take her to her house,[1] which he did.[2]

As Lex finished his call with Boris from Kasnia, Philippe told him that the Galaxy Gazette wanted an official statement about the money he donated to the National City Children's Hospital, causing Lex to realize that Lena Luthor had transferred his profits from his dealings with Kasnia to the hospital. Philippe listened as Lex said that he needed to talk to Otis Graves, saying that he would call the news media later.
Hours later, Philippe heard about Lena and Lex's argument over Luthor Corp where Lena told Lex that he was sole owner of the company. Philippe asked what was next on Lex's agenda, to which Lex used a transmatter portal as he told Philippe he had more to get.[3]
