Phillip Karnowsky is an arms and drug dealer and an enemy of Superman.
Biography[]
At some point, Phillip became an arms dealer, drug dealer and a member of Intergang. At another point, he had a meeting with several villains being offered weapons by Toyman, but Lois Lane denounced them, and Philip was arrested.
In 2021, Superman found him holding a jet pilot and his crew hostage. When Superman engaged him, Phillip breathed in a substance that enabled him to be as strong as Superman. Before Superman can counter-attack, he started to have painful visions tied in with mysterious earthquakes happening in the Shuster Mine. The Supermen of America then managed to defeat Phillip. Mitch Anderson later mentioned to Superman that Phillip got his hands on some X-Kryptonite.[1]
Powers[]
- X-Kryptonite enhancement: By inhaling some type of gas (presumably composed of X-Kryptonite), Philip gained physical capabilities that enabled him to physically rival Superman's abilities. Whether or not the effects are temporary is unclear.[1]
- Superhuman strength: Phillip was able to send Superman flying backwards with a single punch, and effortlessly lifted and tossed him around with a single hand.[1]
