"Pieces" is the eleventh chapter of the comic book series Adventures of Supergirl. It was released digitally on June 13, 2016.

Kara’s foster family is threatened by the diamond-hard former head of Fort Rozz!^[1]

Kara mentions that she went to college at Stanhope College. In the comics, the college was located in the town of Stanhope but later appearances established it as located 50 miles west of Metropolis. Its location was later retconned to be in Leesburg.
Kara mentions one of her first challenges, Professor Haley's oceanography pop quizzes. This is a reference to the comic book character Professor Walter "Prof" Haley, a master skin diver, oceanographer and a member of the Challengers of the Unknown, a team of professional adventurers.
