The prismatic refractor is a device created by Eva McCulloch that converts light into energy.
History[]
Eva McCulloch designed the prismatic refractor sometime in 2013.
In late 2019, Joseph Carver sold the prismatic refractor to Mercury Labs.
In March 2020, while trapped in the Mirrorverse, Eva's mirror duplicate created a mirrored replica of the prismatic refractor, but it was rejected by her trans-dimensional machine, the R-CEM. Theorizing the machine would not work without the original, she then ordered her mirror duplicates, Iris West-Allen and Kamilla Hwang, to retrieve the real prismatic refractor from Mercury Labs and swap it out with the replica.
At Mercury Labs, Mirror Iris and Mirror Kamilla found the prismatic refractor, but were forced to leave it behind due to a confrontation with Sunshine, who wanted to take it for herself. Afterwards, the device was procured by Officer Daisy Korber for the Central City Police Department and later set to be transferred into A.R.G.U.S.'s custody. However, Sunshine interrupted again to try and steal it. In the commotion, Mirror Kamilla managed to steal the prismatic refractor and replace it with the replica. Mirror Iris then gave the real one to Eva in the Mirrorverse.[1]
With the prismatic refractor inside it, the R-CEM was used to free Eva from the Mirrorverse.[2]
