The Q-wave Generator is a device developed by Lena Luthor to be used together with Myriad in her bid to enact Project Non Nocere worldwide.

However, because the Q-waves it implements operate in layered frequencies, Lena had to specifically "calibrate" the generator's equipment setup and the particular wavelength frequency it emits in order to render the desired effect consistent upon recipients without invoking a “zombie-effect”; that is, completely overriding and voiding the subject's sense of free will to make room for the Non Nocere's imposed directives only since her intent was to solely abolish ill will that disunites people at the mental level. It was for that reason why she had to get a willing Malefic's cooperation at isolating then identifying the correct Q-wave frequency, via the frequency which the Green Martian employs through his Inception ability, for her endeavored grand project to become reality.
History
Functions and Capabilities
- Inception/Mind control: Malefic's Q-waves broadcast on a special frequency that allows him to control the thoughts and emotions of others, This led Lena Luthor to study him and later localize and replicate for Project Non Nocere.[1]
Limitations and Downsides
- Induced Defenselessness: The device taking away the subject's ability to cause harm, physical or otherwise, is virtually absolute; this means that — under normal circumstances — successfully inducted recipients to Non Nocere would not be able to defend themselves, to even so much as throw a punch in self-defense, if their own lives depended on it rendering them incredibly helpless when threatened.

Trivia
- Given that the primary apparatus used by Lena is obviously a prototype and that Q-waves come in a range of eclectic frequencies, she had to hook up the main generator together with several wired equipment, spanning here and there across a whole room, to calibrate the generated frequency and resulting in optimized inceptive effects. Luckily, Myriad was technologically advanced enough to compensate for it.
